Arrived today! This is the psychological halfway point of the Trail (apparently just slightly shy of the actual halfway point in miles). Staying at a nice American Youth Hostel.
Wednesday, May 27
Went into D.C. and bummed around for the day. Visited the old favorite Air and Space Museum, plus the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and -- a new treat -- the Museum of Modern Art.
